Who I Am

Hi! I’m Neha, a junior at the Advanced Math and Science Academy! I’m passionate about all things science, especially biology, mental health, and medicine. I’m the kind of person who’s
always curious, learning, and looking for ways to grow (both in and out of the classroom).

What I Do

Medicine, community service, and hands-on care to help others drive my passion. I seek opportunities to support people and gain real-world experience through volunteering at a hospital, nursing home, and soup kitchen. To deepen my understanding of healthcare, I shadow medical professionals and train to become an EMT (still in progress). These experiences have shown me that healthcare goes beyond science. It requires compassion, the ability to bounce back from challenges, and the willingness to be there for individuals in their times of greatest need.

My Journey

My fascination with medicine and mental health began in my early years and has evolved into a true passion over time. Through hands-on work, talks with mentors, and jumping into fresh
opportunities & challenges, I’ve gained much knowledge. This blog is a platform to share my insights, think about my journey, and build connections with others on a comparable path.
